Sound Design
Micah Carlsen (he/they) is a writer, designer and audio producer in love with sound in all forms. He’s the current host of the indie media podcast, The Cult Crypt, the sound designer of Apologetics at The Tank and the former host of the weekly WNYU news broadcast The Rundown. He has been designing sound for the stage since 2022, most recently creating sound and directing his play- Possessions: A Dybbuk Play, and designing sound for the Edinburgh Fringe Festival run of The Gospel of Joan Crawford. He is a former collaborator of teatrito theatre co. and Broke People Play Festival, not only designing sound for two one act play festivals, but also producing his first staged work, She’s Lump!, with the festival.
He is so excited to be working on this incredibly poignant show and wants it to be known that everything he does is not only for his family in Crowley, TX but especially his beautiful dog, Chai- the bestest girl in the whole wide world.
